Otero Arts Juried Photography Exhibition
Otero Arts is hosting its first Juried Photography Exhibition which will open on January 2nd with a reception from 5-7 PM at Otero Artspace, 1118 Indiana Avenue (12th and Indiana), Alamogordo. The gallery will be open Thursday through Sunday from 1-4. The exhibition closes at 4pm on Saturday, January 31.
This exhibition has garnered a large interest from the photographic community in Southern New Mexico and El Paso. Thirty-Six photographers submitted their work to be judged for this exhibition. The Judge for the exhibition was Sherry Hayne, photographer and manager of Tularosa Basin Photography Gallery in Carrizozo, NM.
DAPC members who were judged into the show are: Terry Gaume, Tim Holt, Tom McLaughlin, Jeanne Templeton and David Turning.

Jeannie Wilson's photo, The Hat, has been accepted into the New Mexico Magazine photo contest for 2026. The photo was taken at the Intertribal Rodeo in August. The hat belongs to one of the brave clowns desperately trying to distract this bull from trampling the poor rider.
